The Shallotte-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce announces the winners of the Winter 2020/21 Golden Pineapple Awards.
The Shallotte-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce awarded 18 local businesses, including Doctor Cahn, a Golden Pineapple Award at a ceremony held at the Chamber.
Golden Pineapple Awards are given quarterly to those businesses nominated by their customers for providing consistent and exceptional customer service. The pineapple is the international symbol of hospitality which is the reason the Chamber chose it for the award.
“Customer service is not a department, its everyone’s job”. These companies not only believe the philosophy behind this anonymous quote they put it into action. So much so that their customers have made the effort to let others know about their great customer service. “said Karen Sphar, Executive Vice President of the Shallotte-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce.
